Projects 1 & 2 - final outcome

"Opera as Encounter" is a creative research project led by Océane Deweirder and currently realised with the Royal Academy of Music (London) MMus program and its precious support.

Its aim is to explore the dance and opera singing possibilities of encounter when proposed by a same performer.

Both historical research and creative laboratory, the first part of this exploration will lead to a representation in London in Spring 2021 of 4 performances, also called 4 encounters exploring various creative possibilities in this direction.

The project will keep travelling by then and eventually lead to the creation of a company.
